It is ten in the morning in a central kitchen that feeds six corporate clients. Lunch is in three hours. How many people will eat today at each site?
In most operations, the honest answer is "about the same as yesterday, plus a margin to be safe". Menus go out as PDFs and group chats. Bookings come in by email and phone, and someone tallies them by hand. The kitchen cooks for a number nobody fully trusts, and the surplus goes in the bin.
MealWay is the platform we built to replace that guesswork. Caterers publish menus to every corporate client, the clients' employees book their own meals, and the headcount locks before the kitchen starts cooking.
The cost of guesswork
Over-preparation is the line item every catering operation feels but rarely measures. A confirmed headcount before service turns daily guesswork into a number you can plan, cost and bill against. The waste is designed out rather than managed after the fact.
Publish. Book. Lock.
Three steps are the spine of the platform:
- Publish. Build one master menu, then publish a version for each client, with their items, their pricing and their branding. A full menu goes out in about 30 seconds.
- Book. Each client's employees browse the menu and book their own meals from any device, in one tap and without installing an app. The caterer watches covers add up in real time, site by site.
- Lock. Bookings lock at the cut-off the caterer sets for each contract. The kitchen gets a confirmed headcount, with per-site counts and pick lists, before anyone starts cooking.

One system, three kinds of user
- The caterer runs every contract, client, site and user from one console. Confirmed headcounts end over-preparation, and booking data strengthens the case at contract renewal.
- The corporate client gives its staff a modern booking experience, gets nutrition and allergen transparency, and receives billing it can check against real bookings.
- The employee books in one tap, sees calories and allergens before choosing, saves dietary preferences once, and gets a reminder before the cut-off.
Menus people look forward to
Menus are built centrally across six course categories and published per client. Every dish carries calories and full macros, and clear dietary tags such as halal, vegan and gluten-free. Seasonal and occasion items appear automatically, so menus stay fresh without being rebuilt by hand. MealWay is halal-first by default.

Data that turns into decisions
The analytics engine shows booking trends, consumption per client and site, and the most popular items. Menus and portions are tuned to what people actually book, so each service cycle is sharper than the last. Per-client reports are ready for every contract review.
Built for enterprise IT
MealWay uses role-based access with least privilege, encryption in transit and at rest, immutable audit trails, and single sign-on with multi-factor authentication. It runs as a multi-tenant cloud with isolated tenants and can be deployed regionally.
Already serving every day
MealWay is live. Across its deployments it books around 12,400 covers a day at 48 client sites, and a full menu is published in about 30 seconds. It was designed and built by Prestige Saudi Company in Riyadh.
