UBio-X LiveGuard
A fingerprint with a pulse
LiveGuard reads the blood-flow response at the fingertip with infrared and green-red light, and combines it with the fingerprint sensor’s own forgery detection. Union Biometrics describes it as the first fake-fingerprint detection based on a heartbeat signal.
